last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch. it was super cold, but fun. ashlynn saw the goats and donkeys, and went running over to them immediately. she loves animals of any kind. she kept saying "puppy" and pointing at them. she calls anything with fur a puppy, since that is one of her three words.
we took some pictures of the kids with the pumpkins and by some hay bales, but they weren't really in the mood. it's so hard to get two kids under age two to sit still long enough to take a picture. and getting them both to look at the camera at the same time is basically impossible. i just snap away and get what i get. good enough.
we spent over an hour in the corn maze. by the end the adults and ashlynn were getting quite annoyed with it. thankfully my sister took control and got us out. if we wouldn't have had our stroller, i would have probably cut through the outside edge long before we found the exit! we eneded up getting out and finding all the clues we were supposed to find. yay, us.
on another note, we got three new foster kids at the beginning of october, which is why i haven't posted lately. things have been busy around here. they are fifteen, nine, and three. very busy ages, especially with school and all that entails. we are adjusting to having older kids again, and the kids seem to be adjusting to living here. we head to court again next monday to see what the time frame will be. so far, it's looking like they will be with us a while, which is fine with us.
